Normally I would to, but this version is pretty good, it installs extremely fast and is waaay lighter on system resources than ever before. Its at least worth taking a second look at (even if you have rejected norton before).

Chicago, not to be rude or anything, but if you don't have anything useful to add then please, don't post in this topic. Its not like there is anything wrong with trying it.

Just giving my humble opinion.

Nothing Symantec releases now will be lighter than NAV5.

Then again, not needing an anti-virus is much lighter on system resources .

Is this fully functional (well as functional as a beta can be) and is this timebombed?

no its not timebombed, its just the serial that expires after 14 days.

there are bugs in this build so that might impact functionality.

I don´t know, but the ET4 is trail version and does not require a product key.

I didn´t saw them. But only in the folders nis_beta, nav_beta and n360_beta

[edit]This might be interesting for MAC-Users[/edit]

ET4 has not been released yet, I posted this topic less than a day after ET3 was released.

My serial numbers won't do you any good as they have already been used, and anyway, if i give them out, I'll almost certainly be dropped from the beta program... I don't know if anyone has tried yet, but you might consider using (your own ) NIS 08 retail keys and posting back if they work or not.
